Job Title: Zonal Manager (Agent Banking Business)

- As a Zonal Manager in the Agent Banking Business, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the growth and performance of agent banking operations within your designated zone.
- You will lead a team of Regional Managers and State coordinators and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective agent & aggregator onboarding, network expansion, and customer acquisition.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and experience in agent banking or branch management.
- Lead and manage the agent banking network within the assigned zone, including aggregators, agents, and their performance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with aggregators, ensuring their effective participation in the agent banking program and driving their engagement.
- Monitor aggregator and agent performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Risk, to develop and execute strategies for network expansion, customer acquisition, and revenue optimization.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to aggregators and agents to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, operational processes, and service quality standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as necessary.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement, service innovation, and network expansion.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of zonal and regional performance, including agent acquisition, transaction volumes, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in the agent banking space.
- Collaborate with the central management team to contribute to the development of overall business strategies, policies, and guidelines.
- Proven experience in managing teams and partnerships in the financial services or banking industry, with a focus on agent banking or mobile financial services.
- Strong understanding of the agent banking ecosystem, including aggregators, agents, and mobile money platforms.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve targets and drive performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with aggregators, agents, and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance guidelines, and industry best practices related to agent banking operations.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned zone as needed.
