Apollo app adds ‘pixel pulse’ to iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island

Popular Reddit app Apollo was updated with support today iphone 14 pro And Pro Max, and Apollo developer Christian Selig decided to implement a fun little feature – a “Tamagotchi” for the dynamic island.

App update adds a tiny creature to the area above Dynamic Island on the new iPhone model. It can be adapted to a cat, dog, hedgehog, fox, or axolotl, and the little creature simply moves around the dynamic island as you browse Reddit.

The new “Dynamic Island Zoo” option is opt-in for Apollo, and is available with the latest version of the app. Selig has also added tiny creatures as lock screen widgets, so even those who don’t have an iPhone with Dynamic Island can add a crater to their device.

Earlier this week, Apollo was updated iOS 16 support, so there are many Other Reddit-Related Widgets Which are available for those running the iOS 16 operating system.
